Most of our pieces are made from Sterling Silver, Argentium Silver or Brass, plated with 14K Gold, Rose Gold and Rhodium, and Gold-Filled and Rose Gold-filled.
Our plated jewelry needs some special looking after for you to enjoy them for a longer period. Here’s a list of tips for you on how to care your Gonz Jewel for a long-lasting wear.
Avoid sweat and water
Take them off before bathing in the shower, pool, hot tub or beach.
Do not place next to the window, air conditioner or in the bathroom.
Remove your jewelry when exercising, or any other demanding physical work, as sweating causes the jewel to tarnish.
Avoid cosmetics
Apply your lotions, perfumes, or anything with chemicals before you put on your jewelry.
Perfumes and lotions will tarnish the jewelrywith usual wear.
Storage
When they’re not being used, store them individually after every use in our original boxes or included pouch to keep them tarnish free.
A zip plastic bag is a great alternative as well.

STERLING SILVER
A versatile and durable alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper which makes your favorite pieces last longer.
ARGENTIUM SILVER
Made from 100% recycled silver, with 93.5% pure silver, 5.5% copper and 1% germanium, which makes it even more tarnish resistant that 925 sterling silver.
PLATING
14K Gold or rose gold over a base metal of sterling silver or brass with a layer of anti-tarnish for extra durability.
GOLD VERMEIL
A thicker and durable layer (2.5 microns) of gold electro-plated over a base of sterling silver.
GOLD FILLED
A layer of 14K or 18K gold pressure bonded to a base metal of brass, nickel-free and the next best alternative to solid gold.
SOLID GOLD
Solid 14K or 18K gold without the human or environmental problems sometimes associated with mining.
SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS
Made of extremely high-quality crystal glass, the stones come from a very uniform structure which offers the Swarovski crystals amazing clarity.
CUBIC ZIRCONIA
