Growing up in the Dominican Republic as a passionate jewelry enthusiast, founder Kalya González was drawn to the unique creations of local artists and jewelers.
With a keen eye for design and a love for supporting local talent, she often stumbled upon one-of-a-kind finds while browsing the local markets. However, her sensitive skin made it challenging to find jewelry that didn’t cause irritation.
Despite extensive research and investment in high-end pieces, the risk of an allergic reaction remained. Frustrated by the limitations, Kalya found herself relying on expensive, international sellers for traditional jewelry that left her longing for something more.
